More north Queensland residents can now undergo surgery locally, with Cairns Private Hospital unveiling a multi-million dollar redevelopment including a new state-of-the-art operating theatre and a second theatre shell to cater for future growth.

After Hours GP Clinic

After Hours GP Clinic will be closed from Monday 23rd December and reopen Monday 6th January 2025.

The After Hours GP Clinic at Cairns Private Hospital provides convenient access to respected local GPs. This appointment-based service is open weekday evenings and weekend afternoons and early evenings.

Located inside the Hospital, the After Hours GP Clinic has easy access to pathology, radiology and pharmacy. Appointments can be made by calling 4052 5305 after 12pm.

Patients can access longer GP appointments of at least 30 minutes if needed, with minimal wait times. The aim of the clinic is to supplement the services of a regular GP.
